This “shortcut” to the beach, a path less travelled, has one rule: don’t stop. Of course, to line up the shot on an old, heavy Pentax 6x7, stillness is key. So, in exchange for its canvas, every bare bit of skin was sacrificed to the jungle and the swarming clouds of mosquitos that buzz in its shadows, until the shutter released.
