I had been in Utah on a shoot and exploring backcountry rides that week when I spoke to Forrest Minchinton. He had been riding and exploring up the CA coast to Oregon and Idaho and decided to meet me in Utah to ride and shoot. We gave a ring to Todd Cram and Nick LaPaglia and they loaded up with little notice and met us up there, in what seemed like the middle of nowhere on a distant planet. We rode for 2-3 days exploring all kinds of foreign terrain amidst giant landscapes, sandstorms, waterfalls, campfire dinners and one or two beers cheered. This single image was from a sketchy land mass that the fellas were doing daredevil corners on. We timed it for Forrest to come into camera wheel up while Todd hits the lip and Nick kicks up extra waves of dust.
