Following a few days of wave-hunting in the heart of Cuba, we embarked on a spirited journey, traversing the entire island from bustling Havana in a weathered, transformed truck of peculiar origins. Our eagerness to catch a first glimpse of the ocean was met with onshore winds and a distinct absence of substantial waves. Undaunted, we adapted to the situation and, in our quest for adventure, stumbled upon the welcoming presence of a local gentleman who offered shelter in a modest shack. There, we were treated to the delights of rum, beers, and ceviche, and from that point on, we embraced the whims of fate and let the winds guide our Cuban escapade
