It was the day of the 2016 Eddie Aikau contest, which is an elusive and rare event that is only held during the biggest of swells. On this particular day, massive walls of water lined up far and wide across a strong and mighty ocean during the most intense episode of surf I have ever seen. As the sun set through the thick salty haze, Pulse was born. Truly one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever had the privilege to absorb.
