This artwork was the second concept I captured while spending time on a private polo field in Florida. This photograph has been on my mind ever since I started capturing more of the English and Polo lifestyle. I wanted to capture the feeling of a polo player flirting with a young and classy woman in between a game as she watched from the sidelines. Whenever you attend a polo game you will always see families, friends, and spectators dressed up and cheering on each team as they sit in their cars or under shaded canopies alongside the field. It is something that you just have to witness for yourself and words don’t quite explain the excitement of it all. The pounding of the horse’s hooves as they run after the ball, colliding with one another, as the players swing wooden mallets in hopes of scoring a goal. The smell of cigars and champagne fill the air under the warm afternoon sun in one of the most iconic Polo communities, Wellington, Florida. This is the definition of High Class.
