Maxime Delestre ²

Maxime was born on July 16, 1996, in Agon-Coutainville, a small coastal town in the Manche region. Maybe that’s why he's always been drawn to the raw energy of seaside cities, the ever-changing ocean, and the kind of light you only find by the water.

His photography is fueled by that same atmosphere - a mix of hedonism and daydreaming, always chasing an aesthetic that feels just out of reach.

He shoots mostly on film, using cameras from a time he never lived in but can’t help romanticizing. That nostalgia runs deep, shaping not just his work but his entire way of life. It’s why he's obsessed with vintage motorcycles and classic cars - machines that make you feel every vibration, every turn of the road. They’re his escape, his way of chasing fleeting moments where beauty and light collide, perfectly imperfect. That’s what drives him - both behind the lens and on the road.
