Marc Llewellyn 1

Marc Llewellyn’s photography is rooted in travel, the ocean, and a natural curiosity for people and place. Having spent much of his life surfing and travelling, his perspective has been shaped by constant exposure to different environments and cultures. At 33, he stepped away from a more conventional path and committed to photographing the world with greater focus and intent.

Now living in Indonesia, his work sits somewhere between travel, cultural portraiture, and documentary story-telling. He tends to gravitate toward places that feel honest and a little less defined—whether that’s remote coastlines, small communities, or unfamiliar landscapes. His approach is simple and observational, favouring natural light and real moments over anything staged, resulting in imagery that feels grounded, human, and unforced.
